HydraPure™
filter elements incorporate proprietary medias, the result of extensive research
and testing. HydraPure™ medias are produced by a novel manufacturing technique
that utilizes large (macro) fibers to provide an endoskeleton within the
micro-fiber mat. This matrix provides an exceptionally stable structure within
the media and maintains loft and pore integrity during periods of loading or
cyclic impulse. By maintaining the loft of the media layer, this unique
structural design ensures that the maximum amount of pore space is available
throughout the entire life of the filter. Conventional medias wherein
microfibers are simply layered on backing materials have little internal
skeletal support and may flatten during service, limiting life and efficiency.
The strength of our
medias is further enhanced by HydraPure’s proprietary polymer pack design. This
technology provides a filter pack that maintains its integrity under severe
conditions by providing a shock absorbing support system to protect the media
from impulses, cold start and high differential pressure conditions. Traditional
filters using wire mesh often suffer internal damage caused by the media being
deformed against the rigid wire strands. High performance medias are
incorporated in all HydraPure™ filter elements.
These products
represent the state of the art in filtration technology, combining high removal
efficiencies with exceptionally low flow resistance and unmatched service life.

A. Engineered polymer support mesh provides
structural strength with minimal flow resistance.
B. Intermediate flow control layer laminates flow to increase dirt holding
capacity and reduce pressure drop.
C. Proprietary media utilizes internal support structure to optimize and
maintain porosity during cyclic flow and high loading and high pressure
conditions.
